|R. W. Digby, M.D., F.A.C.C.||Dr. Digby is a native of Georgia and a graduate of the University of Georgia, magna cum laude, and of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia hospitals and clinics in Augusta, Georgia. A veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Corps, Dr. Digby is a former clinical Professor of Medicine at Texas Tech School of Medicine. Dr. Digby is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Echocardiography. He has been with Gaston Medical Group since 1977 and specializes in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is board certified in each. Dr. Digby also directs our echocardiography and carotid ultrasonography laboratories and our stress testing facility. He is a former Chief of Staff at Gaston Memorial Hospital as well as former Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Cardiology at that facility.|
|Rodger W. Lefler, M.D., F.A.C.P.||Dr. Lefler joined Gaston Medical Group in 2012. He is board certified in internal medicine and has been practicing in Gaston County for over 9 years. He graduated from Drake University in 1972 with a BS Degree in Pharmacy. He attended medical school and got his MD degree from the University of IllinoisCollege of Medicine in 1977. He completed his residency in 1980 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He has served in various administrative capacities including serving as President of the Gaston County Medical Society from 2010-2012 and President of the Medical Staff at Donough District Hospital in Macomb, Illinois from 1986-1988. He was Vice President of the Board of Directors of the VHA Great Rivers Network from 1994-1995. He was a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee of Gaston Memorial Hospital from 2003-2011. He is currently a Fellow in the American College of Physicians and a member of the Gaston County and North Carolina Medical Societies. He is an active staff member at Gaston Memorial Hospital.|
|Harold Fite, PA||Mr. Fite is a Gaston County native. He graduated from UNC Charlotte and from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. His employment history is that of the emergency room at Genesee Hospital, Rochester, New York, LeBauer Medical Group, Greensboro, North Carolina, and CaroMont Internal Medicine, Gastonia, North Carolina before he joined Gaston Medical Group in 2002. Mr. Fite is active in various community organizations.|
|Rhodenna S. Arn,
|Rhodenna Arn was born in West Virginia and grew up in Chicago, moving to North Carolina 24 years ago. She has 30 years of nursing experience beginning as an LPN in 1985. She received her Associate degree as an RN in 1991 at Bluefield State College (Bluefield, WV) and later received her BSN in 2004 at Winston Salem State University. She is a recent 2015 graduate at East Carolina University with a Master of Science of Nursing and has received national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical nursing experience is diverse, focused primarily in critical care settings that have included intensive care, coronary care, interventional cardiac cath lab and critical care ground transport. She has leadership experience as charge nurse and hospital nursing supervisor. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the North Carolina Nurses Association. She is passionate and committed to patient-centered care that focuses on wellness promotion and disease prevention. Some things she enjoys are quality time with her husband/workout buddy, and spoiling their 2 grandchildren and 3 cats. She enjoys “travelling and finding good food in local dives.” She sings soprano in her church choir. |Marion M. Lewis, AGNP-C||Marion Lewis graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in 1999 and has worked in the Oncology Unit at Gaston Memorial as a Registered Nurse. She has also spent time working as a case manager in home health. Choosing to advance her education, she decided to earn her MSN in nursing. She is a graduate from South University in Savannah, Georgia and has achieved certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (an AGNP-C).
Ms. Lewis was born and raised in Germany. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She loves to travel as she has family living all over the world. She likes all different kinds of cuisine and cultures. Organic gardening is her passion. She participates in many kinds of activities including skiing, hiking, dancing and yoga. She loves tropical birds especially her new pet, an African grey parrot.
